FESTU's Khabarovsk International Summer School (KISS) is a major annual educational multimodal project for training and adaptation of foreign applicants. Every year KISS welcomes everyone who would like to improve their Russian language proficiency and apply for short term courses ("Robotics", "Mechanical Engineering", "3D Modeling", "Computer Vision and Virtual Reality", "Economics", and "E-commerce"). It started in 2009 as a seminar for students, who studied Russian as a foreign language. Since then KISS is constantly growing and developing. Nowadays the School works as an adaptation program for foreign students. KISS encourages you to gain new knowledge, dive into the Russian culture and local lore, prepare for studying at FESTU, meet new friends and just have a good time in summer. KISS provides tours, work-shops and other recreational activities. When and Where: July - August, FESTU, Khabarovsk, Russia. Language Proficiency Testing: upon completion of the course all students take final testing in the FESTU Testing Center. Those who are interested can take a testing for Test of Russian as a Foreign Language (TORFL) which is obligatory for studying in the Russian Federation. NOTE: The cost of the program does not cover the cost of the TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language).
