DEPARTMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL & PUBLIC RELATIONS

Main purposes of DIR is organization of high-level university’s international affairs as a single entity, develop and implementation strategy of university’s internationalization, optimization and improvement of positive image of the university in international educational space.

Objectives of the department:

1. Development of export and import of educational and scientific services of the university;
2. Organization and providing together with other departments of the university participation in international cooperation, development of academic mobility;
3. Advertising-informational support of the university abroad;

International office

Functions:

• Organization of attracting foreign citizens for studying in FESTU;
• Working with interested Russian and foreign organizations which are occupied in enrollment and staying of foreign citizens in university;
• Written communication and consult foreign educational organizations and foreign citizens on arriving, enrollment for studying in FESTU;
• Written communication with foreign universities-partners on  academic mobility of students;
• Organization of summer/winter schools for foreign citizens.

Office for advertising & exhibition activity

Functions:

• Organization of attraction foreign citizens for studying in FESTU;
• Planning of advertising & exhibition activity as tool of providing educational products, scientific and technical achievements and innovative products of university for foreign markets;
• Organization and participation in international exhibition events;
• Participation iт recruiting events for enrollment to preparation department’s educational programs.

Office for foreign students:

Functions:

• Organization works for recognition foreign education/qualification of foreign citizens, who arrive for studying in the university;
• Working with Russian and foreign organizations on enrollment, admission and staying of foreign citizens in the university;
• Informational & methodological and consulting support of studying and structural divisions of the university on the participation in events of international academic mobility;
• Coordination and control of process of arriving and check-in of foreign students (together with studying divisions);
• Organization and control of medical examination and insurance of foreign students (together with studying and structural divisions of the university).

Russian language center “Preparation department”

Functions:

• Organization of Russian language courses for foreign citizens;
• Development and realization programs of Preparation education;
• Organization of educational process on programs of Prepapration education, training of listeners from foreign citizens for learning professional educational programs in Russian, organization of training for testing of Russian language as foreign or passing state Russian language exam.
