FESTU Is the 2nd Best Among the Russian Transport Universities According to ARES Ranking

Academic Ranking of World Universities - European Standard (ARES) was established in 2013. In 2020 the number of participants has increased significantly in comparison to the last year.

In the Russian Federation 278 universities were qualified for the rating. ARES data processing is automated to exclude the so-called human factor, and uses European standards of higher education in the assessment. These criteria have been discussed in detail at forums and conferences and have been approved by the Bologna Follow-up Group (BFUG) and have been approved by the EU Ministerial Conference on Higher Education.

The Far Eastern State Transport University took the second spot in the ranking among the Russian Transport Universities behind only The Russian University of Transport (RUT) in Moscow.

The main indicators that allowed FESTU to achieve this high position are reliable quality of teaching, active science activity and the employers demand for graduates.
